Get on the Network

• Get a device

Get a supported companion device such as the Wio Tracker L1 Pro or the SenseCAP Card Tracker T1000-E.

Important: Do not turn a device on with the antenna disconnected! Doing so may damage the device. This is not applicable to the SenseCAP Card Tracker T1000-E which has an internal antenna.

• Attach the device to your computer

Plug in the companion device with a high quality data-capable cable. Most failures to install the software are due to cheap charge-only USB cables. Choose companion role firmware for your exact device and follow the instructions.

• Go to the official MeshCore web flasher page

Open flasher.meshcore.io in a Chromium based web browser such as Chrome, Brave, Helium or Edge. Firefox will not work.

• Install a Meshcore app to your device

  • Use the Web App

• Phones: Pair your phone's bluetooth to the device using the app

• Use the app to pair to your companion rather than through the phone's bluetooth menu

• Follow the setup prompts

• Apply the Keweenaw Mesh recommended settings

• Use the USA Preset (910.525MHz, BW=62.5kHz, SF=7, CR=5)

• In settings, ensure the Default Path Hash Size is set to 2-byte

• Connectivity Test (Official MeshCore App)

• Tap on the three dots in the upper-right corner for the menu

• Tap on Tools

• Choose Discover Nearby Nodes

• Tap the Discover Repeaters button

• Wait a short while for discovery

• If nothing is found, you may need to reposition to a better location
